MICAM apavu izstāde/ theMICAM shoe fair

Kamēr starp apavu ražotājiem klīst runas, ka viena no lielākajām apavu izstādēm Eiorpā - GDS Diseldorfā ir piedzīvojusi savu galu un vairs nenotiks (vismaz tādā formātā kā līdz šim), MICAM turpina kāpināt savu apmeklētāju skaitu. 
While there is rumors between the footwear manufacturers that one of the largest footwear exhibitions in Europe - GDS in Düsseldorf has come to it's end (at least in it's previous format), MICAM continues to increase its number of visitors.

Jau vairāki mūsu sadarbības partneri, lieli Vācijas apavu zīmoli kā JOMOS un Josef Seibel, kuri līdz šim spītīgi turējušies tikai pie Vācijas izstādes, ir paziņojuši, ka septembrī beidzot piedalīsies MICAM izstādē.
Some of our partners, big German shoe brands such as Jomos and Josef Seibel, who has so far stubbornly participated just in German exhibition, already has announced that in September will finally participate in MICAM fair.

Starp abām šim izstādēm ir sīva konkurence un tradicionāli Diseldorfas izstādē bija vairāk Vācijas apavu ražotāju (loģiski) un Milānas izstādē vairāk ražotāju no Itālijas, Spānijas un Portugāles. Nezinu, kurš no abiem bija pirmais, bet pirms pāris gadiem GDS un MICAM izdomāja mainīt izstāžu datumus no marta uz februāri un no septembra uz jūliju! Nozare tam nebija gatava, īpaši jūlijā, kad, gan iepircējiem nav skaidrs sezonas ietirgojums, gan vairākiem ražotājiem vēl nebija gatavi modeļu paraugi. GDS paziņoja par pilnīgi jaunu konceptu - vairāk modes skates, dažādu ārpus izstādes pasākumu un koncentrēšanās uz modes tendenču atspoguļošanu. Pēc pašas izstādes pārstāvju runām industrijai tas patīk (tas bija pirms 2,5 gadiem). Laikam tomēr ne tik ļoti. Ne pa velti MICAM diezgan drīz atgriezās pie septembra datumiem. Jo galvenais izstādes mērķis ir demonstrēt jaunās kolekcijas saviem klientiem un potenciālajiem klientiem, noformēt pasūtījumus. Skates, modes tendenču atspoguļošana ir tikai papildus saldais ēdiens. Kas tiek pasniegts arī MICAM.
Between these two exhibitions are fierce competition. Traditionally at Düsseldorf shoe fair was more German shoe manufacturers (logical) and Milan exhibition more manufacturers from Italy, Spain and Portugal. I do not know wo of the two was the first, but a few years ago the GDS and MICAM changed fair dates from March to February and from September to July! Industry was not ready for this change, especially in July when both purchasers didn't know season sales and many producers didn't  have sample models ready. GDS announced a completely new concept - more fashion shows, various activities  outside shoe fair and focus on prediction of fashion trends. Shoe fair organizators 2,5 year ago thought that industry like it. Apparently not. theMICAM pretty soon returned to the September dates. Because the main purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the new collections to customers and potential customers, execute orders. Fashion shows, shoe trends seminars are only a dessert. And the is no lack of it MICAM too. 

Kā tālāk ies Diseldorfai redzēsim pavisam drīz, bet tikmēr nedaudz par nu jau 83šo Milānas kurpju, zābaku un citu apavu izstādi. Šajā izstādē tika prezentētas rudens/ziemas 2017/2018 kolekcijas (jā, jā, vēlreiz atkārtoju - mēs pasūtam apavus pusgadu uz priekšu).
What will happen with Düsseldorf fair we will see very soon, but in meantime a little about 83th Milan shoes, boots and other footwear exhibition. In this exhibition shoe producers presented fall / winter 2017/2018 collections (yes, yes, I repeat myself again - we order shoes half a year ahead).

Augstās modes zīmoli parasti nepiedālās šādās izstādēs, bet šogad izstādē piedalījās tādi modes grandi kā Fendi, Ferragamo, Gucci, Prada un Tod’s. Izstādes rīkotāji cenšas izstādi padarīt arvien krāšņāku un plašāku auditoriju uzrunājošu.
High fashion brands usually do not participate in such fairs, but this year such fashion greats like Fendi, Ferragamo, Gucci, Prada and Tod's took part in the fair. The organizers are trying to make the show more and more colorful and compelling to a wider audience. 

Kā vienmēr ražotāji cenšas pārsteigt un pievilināt jaunus klientus ar savu stendu dizainu, gan izveidojot dārzus, gan greznas viesistabas, gan izgatavojot kurpes turpat uz vietas.
As always, manufacturers tried to impress and attract new customers with design of stands by creation gardens and luxurious living rooms and making shoes on the spot. 

Tā ir bauda acīm, bet nenovēršamies no galvenā. Ko tad es tur sadarīju? Tā kā ražotāju loks jau diezgan nostabilizējies, tad galvenokārt tika apciemoti jau esošie sadarbības partneri. Bet tomēr sagādāju arī kādu pārsteigumu, rudenī būs jauns ražotājs no Spānijas, kura kurpes ir ne tikai skaistas, bet arī ērtas (vismaz ar rokām apčamdot, grrr.. neciešu tos 37. izmēra paraugus).
It is a pleasure to eyes, but let's focus on most important. What did I do? I mainly visited existing partners, becouse I have already stable range of producers. But there will be some suprise for fall/winter too. New shoe manufacturer from Spain with shoes which are not only beautiful, but very comfortable too (as I could understand by touching them, hate those shoe samples in size 37!)

Izstādē piedalījās 1 405 apavu ražotāji, no kuriem 795 bija no Itālijas un 610 no citām valstīm. Apmkelētāju skaits pieauga par 5% salīdzinot ar pagājušā gada februāri (44 610).
1,405 exhibitors attended, 795 of which were Italian and 610 international, with certified attendance of 44,610 visitors (up 5% on the edition of February 2016).

Septembrī izstāde notiks vienā laikā ar Milānas modes nedēļu un tās tēma būs "Seduction" (pavešana). Izklausās kārdinoši, vai ne?
theMICAM will continue on its Dantean path in September with the theme "Seduction". It will be the first time the event has been held at the same time as the Fashion Week.
